Professional Standard

My work

Explanation

In this example of the learning outcome "Professional Standard," I will demonstrate my documentation and organization for the first project, "Fast Forward," in week one.

Action

I made the documents where we could put all our research and documentation for every day.

I shared all these documents with my teammates so that they would also have access to them.

DAY 1

DAY 2

DAY 3

I tried my best to make sure all the documentation was there. I created headers with all the deliverables and I discussed with my teammates what they wanted to do and distributed the work like that.

Feedback

The feedback I got from my teammates was that they liked that I made the documents clear and easy to navigate and that everything was in one (or in this case 3) place(s).

Reflection

I made these documents to be sure that we would do everything the project required. I also made them so that it would be clear what we should do on what day. In the process of the project, however, the documents became quite cluttered but almost all the documentation is there. I say almost because some iteration pictures are missing.

For the organization, I did most of the task-assigning. I did this with the approval of my team members, of course. I also ensured that all our required tasks were completed. It felt like my group relied on me for this. This may be because I naturally assumed this role early on, or perhaps because my group members were less engaged in the documentation part of the project. Regardless, I'm glad I took on this responsibility.

In the future, I will likely try to be in this position again because I feel like I'm in control that way. By this, I mean that I have a clear understanding of what is going on and that puts me at ease. I do, however, think that I can improve my skills and I will work on this as I continue this study.
