Sprint X

Project Explanation

This solo project allowed me to choose my focus, and since I had already met my learning outcomes, I opted for something simpler. I decided to create a 3D model in Blender, as it was exciting to build something from scratch. The idea of creating entire "worlds" in Blender also intrigued me, as it aligns with my interest in storytelling, making the project both meaningful and enjoyable.

Project Plan

I started this project by making a small project plan just to have a little bit of structure.

Research

For the research portion, I primarily watched YouTube videos. I also explored some pre-made 3D models and saved them in a document. If I had the time, I could have incorporated these elements into my model. Here is the small research document.

3D model

I started by creating some arches, after which I made a simple ground structure and then I added the arch I liked most to the plane.

Reflection

Looking back on this project, I feel like I could have done more. I could have spent more time learning the details of Blender, but since I had already passed the semester before starting this project, I decided not to put in as much effort.

I do plan to keep working on the model I've created, but not before the deadline.

It might not have been the most responsible choice to put less focus on this project, but since I had already met all my learning outcomes, I didn't think it was too bad.
