STORY BOARD

One of the most crucial parts of our project was creating a storyboard. Storyboards are really important because they help you plan out your ideas visually before jumping into filming or editing. For our group, the storyboard acted as a blueprint for the final music video — it helped us map out each scene, shot by shot, and gave us a clearer direction. We were also able to try out different versions and make changes along the way, which made the whole process more flexible and creative. Most importantly, it gave us a kind of 'real' preview of how the video could look in the end, which made filming a lot more focused and efficient.

UNREAL ENVIORMENT

For our project, we decided to create a 3D background using Unreal Engine. The environment we built was a Roman Colosseum, which gave our music video a bold and dramatic atmosphere. Using Unreal Engine allowed us to add depth, lighting, and camera movement, making the scene feel much more dynamic and immersive. It also gave us the flexibility to control every detail and experiment with different visuals to match the energy and tone of the song. The 3D space really brought the video to life and helped make it more visually engaging.

POST PRODUCTION

To edit and color grade our music video, we used DaVinci Resolve. It gave us a lot of control over the final look and feel of the video, especially when it came to adjusting the colors, contrast, and lighting to match the mood of each scene. We were able to experiment with different color tones and effects, which helped us create a more cohesive and visually striking video. The editing tools also made it easy to cut, arrange, and fine-tune our clips, making the overall workflow smooth and efficient. Using DaVinci Resolve really helped us polish the final product and bring everything together.
